There's some obvious bits and pieces from the canonical gospels here in Carol #8, but it's mostly almost an entirely straight adaptation of Dante's Inferno. It's honestly very Lit Brick in that regard. Taking place mostly in Hell, with Beez and Satan around, also makes this issue a pseudo-sequel to Lit Brick's adaptation to "Paradise Lost," which you can read at your leisure, if you're so inclined.
Though this is the final issue of Carol I planned on, something tells me she won't be gone forever. I mean, she's destined to return someday, right?
