There's some obvious bits and pieces from the canonical gospels here in Carol #8, but it's mostly almost an entirely straight adaptation of Dante's Inferno. It's honestly very Lit Brick in that regard. Taking place mostly in Hell, with Beez and Satan around, also makes this issue a pseudo-sequel to Lit Brick's adaptation to "Paradise Lost," which you can read at your leisure, if you're so inclined.

Though this is the final issue of Carol I planned on, something tells me she won't be gone forever. I mean, she's destined to return someday, right?

Carol: The daughter of God. She's her own biggest fan and assumes that everyone else is too.

Jesus: Carol's twin brother. He's not even remotely magical and finds his sister infuriating.

Miriam: Carol's little step-sister. She idolizes Carol and her faith is unwavering.

Beez: Satan's right-hand and maybe girlfriend? Also one of Carol's best pals.
